ABOUT TEAKUNIQUE (Formerly Chic Teak) We have been importing teak garden furniture from Central Java for over 10 years and we have developed an excellent relationship with our suppliers, who we visit regularly. They make furniture entirely to our specifications, from top grade, kiln dried teak. Due to our low overheads, we are able to price our furniture very competitively, without jeopardising its quality. ABOUT OUR FURNITURE Our TEAK is fully sustainable and comes from plantations, run by the Indonesian government, which is doing its best to avoid the deforestation catastrophes which have occurred elsewhere in Asia. It is kiln dried to the correct moisture content, thereby extending its life. Our tables have 4cm thick tops and 5cm square legs - as do most of our benches. Therefore our products are more substantial and sturdy than that which is generally available. Our ALL WEATHER WICKER is from the Bridgman "4 Seasons Range". It is manufactured to a very high standard using an aluminium frame, covered with a synthethic weave. The furniture can be left out in all weathers, will withstand extreme temperatures, is easily maintained and very light. It looks equally attractive both in and outdoors. Tables are supplied with glass tops and all chairs and loungers with cushions. ABOUT OUR SERVICE TeakUnique takes great pride in the service we offer and we insist on rigorous quality control. Our business is personal and we aim to meet our customers' requirements quickly and efficiently. We are also able to undertake 'one-off' customer orders. Although teak is the very best wood for outdoor furniture and very hard wearing, faults occasionally occur, in which case we will repair or replace defective items, depending on age and the circumstances.
